Data connector is a link between your source system and data warehouse
With Kaivo, everything starts with Data connectors. What do we mean by that term?
Kaivo builds Data connectors to systems you use. Data connector is the piece that connects to your Data source and its system’s API (or other method), fetches the data you want, transforms it into types that AI and BI tools easily understand and stores it into a scalable and powerful data warehouse.
You can have multiple data connectors to a single source system. For example, if you have multiple companies that use the same system but you want their data to be in a same place, you could connect each company’s data with an individual connector. One example of this is a marketing agency that runs multiple clients’ data with their Google Ads account but want to separate that data into different data tables. Another one could be a group that has multiple companies or subsidiaries in their accounting software and want to unify those for group’s financial reporting.
